रेलवे सेफ्टी कमिश्नर चौधरी ने हावड़ा से टिकियापाड़ा के बीच नए बने चौथी लाइन का किया निरीक्षण, चौथी लाइन बनने से ट्रेन समय पर चलने का दावा

 

Shri A M Chowdhary, Commissioner of Railway Safety/South Eastern Circle, inspected the newly constructed 4th line between Tikiapara to Howrah on 12.10.2023. During inspection he was accompanied by Shri Rajeev Shrivastava, CAO(Con) and Shri K.R. Chaudhary , DRM Kharagpur. CRS SE Circle started his inspection from the Electronic interlocking building at Tikiapara followed by the inspection of the relay room. CRS SE/Circle then conducted a motor trolley inspection from KM 2.150 at Tikiapara on the newly laid 4th line upto KM 1.665. A detailed Inspection was carried out of the new line. A speed trial on the new line followed after the motor trolley inspection. The newly constructed 4th line will help reduce the congestion near Howrah station and maintain the punctuality of trains.

SER TO RUN DURGA PUJA SPECIALS BETWEEN SANTRAGACHI AND PURULIA

Kolkata, 12^th October, 2023:

         Keeping in view the extra rush of passengers during Durga Puja, South Eastern Railway has decided to run Special trains between Santragachi-Purulia-Santragachi from 20.10.2023 to 23.10.2023

08027 Santragachi-Purulia Special will leave Santragachi at 01.00 hrs and will reach Purulia at 07.30 hrs. In the return direction, 08028 Purulia-Santragachi Special will leave Purulia at 10.40 hrs and will arrive Santragachi at 16.25 hrs.

The Special train with one AC 3-Tier, ten Sleeper Class, one AC Chair Car, two General Chair Car and two General Second Class coaches  will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Midnapur, Bishnupur, Bankura, Adra and Anara.
