REGULATION OF TRAINS DUE TO DEVELOPMENTAL WORK
IN KHARAGPUR DIVISON
Kolkata, 20th January, 2024:
In view of developmental work in Kharagpur Division, the following trains will be regulated as per the following schedule:
Cancellation of UP Trains
1) 08017/08018 Kharagpur-Balasore-Kharagpur MEMU Special will remain cancelled from 22.01.2024 tom 26.01.2024
Diversion of Train
1) 12816 Anand Vihar-Puri Nandan Kanan Express journey commencing on 24.01.2024 will run on diverted route via Rukni-Anara-Chandil-Sini-Chakradharpur-Rourkela-Jharsuguda-Sambalpur/Sambalpur City
Rescheduling of Trains
1) 12821 Shalimar-Puri Dhauli Express will be rescheduled to leave Shalimar at 11.15 hrs instead of 09.15 hrs on 22.01.2024
2) 12821 Shalimar-Puri Dhauli Express will be rescheduled to leave Shalimar at 10.15 hrs instead of 09.15 hrs on 23.01.2024 and 24.01.2024
3) 12821 Shalimar-Puri Dhauli Express will be rescheduled to leave Shalimar at 10.45 hrs instead of 09.15 hrs on 26.01.2024
4) 12703 Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express will be rescheduled to leave Howrah at 11.35 hrs instead of 08.35 hrs on 22.01.2024
5) 12703 Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express will be rescheduled to leave Howrah at 10.35 hrs instead of 08.35 hrs on 23.01.2024, 24.01.2024 and 26.01.2024.
6) 12703 Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express will be rescheduled to leave Howrah at 09.35 hrs instead of 08.35 hrs on 25.01.2024.

In view of developmental works in Adra Division of South Eastern Railway, the following trains will be regulated as under:
Cancellation of Trains:
- 08644/08643 Asansol-Adra-Asansol MEMU Special, journey commencing on 23.01.2024, 25.01.2024 and 27.01.2024 will remain cancelled.
Short Termination/Short Origination of Trains:
- 08680/08679 Adra-Midnapur-Adra MEMU Special, journey commencing on 23.01.2024 and 28.01.2024 will be short terminated at/short originated from Bankura.
- 08174/08652 Tatanagar-Asansol-Barabhum MEMU Special, journey commencing on 23.01.2024 will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra.
- 18035/18036 Kharagpur-Hatia-Kharagpur Express, journey commencing on 23.01.2024, 27.01.2024 and 28.01.2024 will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra.
- 03594/03593 Asansol-Purulia-Asansol MEMU Special, journey commencing on 28.01.2024 will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra.
Diversion of Train:
- 18601 Tatanagar-Hatia Express, journey commencing on 22.01.2024, 23.01.2024, 24.01.2024 and 27.01.2024 will run on diverted route via Chandil-Gunda Bihar-Muri

BALESWAR STATION OF SER
TO GET NEW FOOT OVERBRIDGE (FOB) SOON
Kolkata, 22nd January, 2024:
As assured by Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon’ble Minister of Railways,
foundation work for Foot Over Bridge has started at Baleswar station.
In a significant development for Baleswar’s connectivity, the much-anticipated Foot Over Bridge project has kicked off as assured by Sri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon’ble Minister of Railways during his recent visit to Balasore. The FOB, spanning two sections and boasting a total length of approximately 50 meters with a width of 3.05 meters, is set to seamlessly connect Platforms 1, 2, and 3/4.
The General Arrangement Drawing (GAD) for the project has been officially approved, marking a crucial milestone. Currently, the foundation work is underway, demonstrating a dedicated commitment to enhancing the railway infrastructure in Baleswar.
Once completed, it will not only provide a safer crossing for passengers and ensure smooth and secure passage between platforms. It will also contribute to the overall efficiency in passenger movement of the railway station.
