ड्रग्स छोड़ किताब अपनाने की अपील की एसडीओ ने, लक्खी भंडार के लिए अभी भी कर सकते हैं आवेदनः एसडीओ, प्रोफेसर बनना चाहती है नेहा आफरीन

 

खड़गपुर, ड्रग्स छोड़ किताब अपनाने की अपील खड़गपुर के एसडीओ योगेश अशोक राव पाटिल ने की। एसडीओ पाटिल आज पांचबेड़िया के रहमतनगर में महिलाओं की सामाजिक संस्था अमीना महिला कल्याण समिति की ओर से आय़ोजित स्वास्थय शिविर में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि संबोधित करते हुए कही। एसडीओ ने कहा कि शिक्षा का कोई विकल्प नहीं है  बच्चों का ड्राप आउट चिंता का विषय है। अभिभावकों को बच्चों की शिक्षा खासकर महिलाओं की शिक्षा पर विशेष ध्यान देना चाहिए। उन्होने नेहा आफरीन की प्रशंसा की।

 

ज्ञात हो कि नेहा मेदिनीपुर कालेज आटोनोमस में स्नातक अंग्रेजी में इस साल गोल्ड मेडल प्राप्त की है। उन्होने कहा कि राज्य सरकार ने कन्या श्री स्टूडेंट कार्ड सहित कई योजनाएं लागू की है ताकि बेटियां पढ़ सके इसका लाभ उठाने की आवश्यकता है। एसडीओ ने कहा कि बच्चों को पढ़ाई से हटाकर कम उम्र में काम में लगा दिया जाता है जो कि उचित नहीं है. बच्चे कम उम्र से ही नशे का शिकार हो रहे हैं यहां ड्रग्स बड़ी समस्या है उन्होने कहा कि वे ड्रग्स उन्मूलन अभियान चलाएंगे व पुलिस  को विशेष धरपकड़ अभियान चलाने को कहेंगे ड्रग्स से जुड़े किसी को भी बख्शा नहीं जाएगा। उन्होने कहा कि जिन महिलाओं को अभी भी लक्खी भंडार नहीं मिला है वे लोग नगरपालिका जाकर संबंधित विभाग में आवेदन कर सकते हैं। एसडीओ ने कहा कि किसी को भी कोई भी समस्या हो तो वे 24×7 उपलब्ध है वे  लोग फोन पर संपर्क कर सकते हैं।

खड़गपुर नगरपालिका की चेयरपर्सन कल्याणी घोष ने महिलाओं को स्वास्थय शिविर के  आयोजन के लिए सराहा। इस अवसर पर समिति के अध्यक्ष नसरिन बेगम, सचिव शाहीन बीबी, पूर्व उपपौरपिता शेख हनीफ, आलोक एऱिक, शेख मुश्ताक, एस.ए खान व अन्य उपस्थित थे। 

260 लोगों का हुआ स्वास्थ परीक्षण 

समिति की ओर से आयोजित स्वास्थय परीक्षण में कुल 260 लोगों का स्वास्थय परीक्षण हुआ जिसमें से 150 लोगों का नेत्र, 70 लोगों का शूगर व 40 लोगों ने दंत परीक्षण कराए जरुरुतमंदो को मुफ्त आई ड्राप भी दिया गया। 

 

प्रोफेसर बनना चाहती है नेहा

मेदिनीपुर कालेज (आटोनोमस) से अंग्रेज स्नातक में गोल्ड मेडल पाए नेहा आफरीन ने kgpnews.in से बात करते हुए कहा कि फिलहाल वह अंग्रेजी में मास्टर्स कर रही है व अंग्रेजी में प्रोफेसर बनना चाहती है। उन्होने गोलड मेडल मिलने के लिए अपने माता पिता को क्रेडिट दिया। ज्ञात हो कि नेहा के पिता व्यवसायी व मां हाउसवाइफ है जबकि छोटा भाई भी पढ़ाई कर रहा है।

Kharagpur: Kharagpur SDO Yogesh Ashok Rao Patil appealed to give up drugs and adopt books. SDO Patil said this while addressing the health camp organized by women’s social organization Amina Mahila Kalyan Samiti in Rahmatnagar, Panchbediya today as the chief guest. SDO said that there is no alternative to education and drop out of children is a matter of concern. Parents should pay special attention to children’s education, especially women’s education. He praised Neha Afrin. Let it be known that Neha has received gold medal in graduation English this year in Medinipur College Autonomous. He said that the state government has implemented many schemes including Kanya Shree Student Card so that daughters can study, there is a need to take advantage of it.

 

The SDO said that children are removed from studies and put to work at an early age, which is not appropriate. Most of the children are becoming victims of drug addiction from an early age. Drugs are a big problem here. He said that he will run a drug eradication campaign in Kharagpur. He said that those women who have still not received Lakkhi Bhandar can go to the municipality and apply in the concerned department. The SDO said that if anyone has any problem, they are available 24×7, they can contact on phone.

 

Kharagpur Municipality Chairperson Kalyani Ghosh praised the women for organizing the health camp. On this occasion, committee chairperson Nasreen Begum, secretary Shaheen Bibi, former vice mayor Sheikh Hanif, Alok Eric, Sheikh Mushtaq, S.A. Khan and others were present.

Health checkup of 260 people was done

In the health check-up organized by the samity, a total of 260 people were checked, out of which 150 people got eye check-up, 70 people got sugar check-up and 40 people got dental check-up. Free eye drops were also given to the needy.

 

Neha wants to become a professor

Neha Afrin, who won gold medal in English graduation from Medinipur College (Autonomous), while talking to kgpnews.in  said that currently she was doing Masters in English and wants to become an professor. She gave credit to his parents for getting the gold medal.  Neha’s father is a businessman and mother is a housewife while her younger brother is also studying.
