SER TO RUN HOLI SPECIAL TRAINS

BETWEEN SANTRAGACHI AND DIGHA

Keeping in view the extra rush of the passengers during Holi Festival, South Eastern Railway has decided to run Weekly Holi Special trains between Santragachi-Digha-Santragachi as per the following schedule:

 

02847/02848 Santragachi-Digha-Santragachi Weekly Holi Specials:

02847 Santragachi-Digha Holi Special will leave Santragachi at 09.10 hrs on 23.03.2024 & 30.03.2024 and will reach Digha at 12.45 hrs, the same day. In the return direction, 02848 Digha-Santragachi Holi Special will leave Digha at 13.10 hrs on 23.03.2024 & 30.03.2024  and will arrive Santragachi at 16.50 hrs, the same day.

02897/02898 Santragachi-Digha-Santragachi Weekly Holi Specials:

02897 Santragachi-Digha Holi Special will leave Santragachi at 08.10 hrs on 24.03.2024 & 31.03.2024 and will reach Digha at 11.55 hrs, the same day. In the return direction, 02898 Digha-Santragachi Holi Special will leave Digha at 13.10 hrs on 24.03.2024 & 31.03.2024  and will arrive Santragachi at 16.50 hrs, the same day.

 

The Special trains will have stoppages at Uluberia, Bagnan, Mecheda, Tamluk and Kanthi enroute.

SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY CELEBRATES

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY-2024

 

 

International Women’s Day was celebrated by South Eastern Railway at its Headquarters, Garden Reach with great enthusiasm. Shri Anil Kumar Mishra, General Manager, South Eastern Railway was the Chief Guest at the programme. Shri Anil Kumar Dubey, Additional General Manager, Principal Head of the Departments and women employees of different departments were present on the occasion. Dr Mahua Verma, Principal Chief Personnel Officer , S E Railway welcomed the distinguished guests at the function. 54 women employees of SER were felicitated for outstanding contribution in their respective jobs in the function.

 

General Manager, Shri Anil Kumar Mishra appreciated the performance of nearly 8,000 women employees serving all over South Eastern Railway. He also praised the awardees for their dedication, sincerity and hard work. The General Manager mentioned about the International Women’s Day 2024 Theme – “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress”. He also stated about the different initiatives taken by S E Railway for the benefit of its women employees.

 

A beautiful cultural programme was staged by the cultural team of Headquarters on this occasion.
