खड़गपुर, 108 साल में पहली बार नगर भ्रमण की विधानपल्ली सोलापुरी माता ने। मंदिर के मुख्य मूर्ति को मंदिर परिसर से पहले पालकी में निकाला गया फिर हितकारिणी स्कुल के पास से रथ में बैठ मां ने नगर भ्रमण की। मां पहले मलिंचा होते हुए नीमपुरा गई वहां के मथुराकाठी नई खोली होते हुए ओल्ड सेटलमेंट से वापस खरीदा होते हुए मंदिर में प्रवेश की। इस बीच माता पूजा कमेटियों व विभिन्न मंदिर कमेटि ने मां का स्वागत किया।
विधापल्ली मंदिर कमेटि ट्रस्ट के सचिव एस सत्यनारायण ने कहा कि 108 वर्ष में पहली बार मां मंदिर प्रांगण से निकली उनलोगों ने जो प्रतिज्ञा ली था वह पूरा हुआ। शहर में मां के स्वागत के लिए उमड़े लोगों से कमेटि खुश दिखे। सचिव ने बताया कि अब हर साल अमावस्य़ा से पहले मां का नगर परिक्रमा होगा। चूंकि अमावस्य़ा पूजा के बाद से ही विभिन्न स्थानों में माता पूजा का आयोजन शुरु हो जाता है। सचिव ने बताया कि इस साल चुनाव 25 मई को घोषित होने के कारण कई पूजा कमेटियां असमंजस में है। ज्यादातर कमेटियां चुनाव के बाद ही पूजा के आयोजन के पक्ष में है।
ज्ञात हो कि 8 अप्रैल से दो दिवसीय श्री सोलापुरी माता मंदिर में अमावस्या पूजा होगी व उगादी मनाया जाएगा। चैत्र-अमावस्या पूजा के बाद कुमकुम पूजा होगी मान्यता है कि माता श्रीसोलापुरी कुलदेवी हैं व नई फसल आने व सुख समृद्धि के लिए माता की पूजा की जाती है। 9 को तेलुगु नववर्ष के उपलक्ष्य में उगादि पूजा होगा।

The main idol of the temple was first taken out in a palanquin from the temple premises, then the mother toured the city in a chariot from near Hitkarini School. Mother first went to Nimpura via Malincha and then entered the temple which was purchased back from the old settlement via Mathurakathi New Kholi. Meanwhile, Mata Puja committees and various temple committees welcomed the mother.
Vidhapalli Temple Committee Trust Secretary S Satyanarayana said that the pledge taken by those who came out of the Maa Temple premises for the first time in 108 years was fulfilled. The committee looked happy with the people who gathered in the city to welcome the mother. The secretary said that now every year before Amavasya, there will be a city parikrama of Maa. Since the celebration of Mata Puja starts in various places after Amavasya Puja. The Secretary said that due to the declaration of elections this year on May 25, many puja committees are in confusion. Most of the committees are in favor of organizing the puja only after the elections.
It is known that from April 8, Amavasya puja will be held in Shri Solapuri Mata Temple for two days and Ugadi will be celebrated. After Chaitra-Amavasya Puja, Kumkum Puja will be done. It is believed that Mata Shri Solapuri is the family deity and Mata is worshiped for the arrival of new crop and happiness and prosperity. Ugadi Puja will be held on 9th to commemorate the Telugu New Year.
