मालगाड़ी का कपलिंग टूटा, खरीदा लेवल क्रासिंग के पास की घटना, लगभग ढ़ाई घंटे अप लाईन हुई प्रभावित

 

खड़गपुर, तेल टैंकर वाली मालगाड़ी के कपलिंग टूट जाने से इंजन सहित तीन बोगी अलग हो सैकड़ों मीटर दूर चली गई जबकि बाकी डिब्बे अलग रह गए जिससे अप लाइन में ट्रेन सेवाएं घंटो बाधित रही। जानकारी के मुताबिक आज शाम लगभग साढ़े चार बजे गिरि मैदान के समीप खड़गपुर की ओर से मेदिनीपुर की ओर जा रही मालगाड़ी के इंजन व तीन डिब्बे कपलिंग टूट जाने से अलग हो गए।

लगभग तीन – चार सौ मीटर दूर जाकर इंजन तीन डिब्बे के साथ खड़ी हो गई जबकि बाकी डिब्बे के कारण खरीदा लेवल क्रासिंग बाधित हुई। रेल प्रशासन को खबर मिलने पर राहत कार्य़ चलाया गया। व लगभग ढ़ाई घंटे के बाद यातायात शाम 7 बजे सामान्य हुआ। पता चला है कि अप लाइन प्रभावित होने पर डाउन लाइन से ट्रेनों को चलाया गया। घटना में किसी के हताहत की कोई खबर नहीं है।      

 खड़गपुर रेल मंडल के डीआरएम के आर चौधरी का कहना है कि प्राथमिक सूचना के आधार पर कपलिंग टूटने के कारण उक्त घटना हुई जिसके बाद इंजन व तीन डिब्बों को गोकुलपुर के लिए रवाना कर दिया गया जबकि बाकी डिब्बों को खड़गपुर लाया गया। पूरी मरम्मत के बाद अब मालगाड़ी को रवाना किया जाएगा। उन्होने कहा कि मामले की जांच के बाद ही पता चल पाएगा आखिर क्यों और कैसे घटना घटी जांच के आदेश दे दिए गए हैं।

Kharagpur: Due to breakage of the coupling of a goods train carrying an oil tanker, three bogies along with the engine got separated and went hundreds of meters away while the rest of the coaches remained separated due to which train services on the up line were disrupted for hours. According to the information, at around 4.30 pm today, the engine and three coaches of the goods train going from Kharagpur towards Medinipur got separated due to breakage of coupling near Giri Maidan.

 

After going about three-four hundred meters away, the engine stopped with three coaches while the remaining level crossing was obstructed. After the railway administration received the news, relief work was started. And after about two and a half hours the traffic became normal at 7 pm. It has been learned that trains were run from the down line when the up line was affected. There is no news of any casualty in the incident.

 

Kharagpur Railway Division’s DRM KR Choudhary says that based on primary information, the above incident occurred due to breakage of coupling, after which the engine and three coaches were sent to Gokulpur while the remaining coaches were brought to Kharagpur. Now the goods train will be dispatched after complete repairs. He said that only after the investigation of the matter, it will be known why and how the incident happened and an investigation has been ordered.
