खड़गपुर, लाइन पार करते समय ट्रेन की चपेट में आने से वृद्ध दंपत्ति की मार्मिक मौत हो गई। जानकारी के अनुसार लाइन पार करते समय खड़गपुर- पांशकुड़ा के बीच राधामोहनपुर स्टेशन के समीप लगभग 60 वर्षीय वृद्ध अपनी पत्नी के साथ लाइन पार कर रहा था तभी पत्नी ट्रेन की चपेट में आ गई पत्नी कोबचाने गए वृद्ध खुद भी ट्रेन की चपेट में आ गया पत्नी का दोनों पैर कट गया जबकि वृद्ध की घटनास्थल में ही मौत हो गई। घायल पत्नी को अस्पताल ले जाया गया जहां उसने दम तोड़ दिया। खड़गपुर शहर थाना पुलिस ने पत्नी का अंत्यपरीक्षण कराया है जबकि वृद्ध की चूंकि घटनास्थल में ही मौत हो गई जीआरपी खड़गपुर ने शव को बरामद कर अंत्यपरीक्षण कराया दोनों के शव को खड़गपुर महकमा अस्पताल में संरक्षित कर रखा गया है। दोनों की शव की शिनाख्त नहीं हो पाई है पता चला है कि वृद्ध दंपत्ति की माली हालत नाजुक थी । जीआरपी का कहना है कि राधामोहनपुर केपास लाइन क्रास करते वक्त उक्त घटना घटी।

खड़गपुर, कटिंग खोली के पास आज दोपहर दो कार आपस में टकरा गई जिससे कार क्षतिग्रस्तहोगया हांलाकि किसी को चोट नहीं आई। जानकारी के अनुसार बैंक की कार सीएमई गेट से टाउन थाना की ओर जारहाी थी तभी विपरीत दिशा में जा रही कार से अनियंत्रित हो टकरा गई। पीड़ित कार के मालिक झपाटापुर निवासी पीड़ित कार के मालिक ने बताया कि अगर वह सतर्क ना होता तो बड़ा हादसा हो सकता था बैंक के कार के सामने की टायर फट गया व क्षति ग्रस्तहो गया।पुलिस घटनास्थल में पहुंच मामले का संज्ञान लिया है।
तेज हार्न वाले बुलेट जब्त युवक हिरासत में
खड़गपुर शहर थाना की पुलिस पुरातनबाजार इलाके से तेज हार्न बजा भागते बुलेट चालक को धर दबोचा व बुलेट को थाना ले आई पता चला है कि दो बुलेट तेज हार्न बजा भाग रही थी तभी वहां सिविक की मदद से एक युवक को वाहन सहित दबोच लिया जबकि दूसरा भागने में कामयाब हो गया। ज्ञात हो कि शहर में अक्सर युवा तेज गति से तेज व कर्कश आवाज मे हार्न बजा भाग जाते है जिससे आम लोगों को परेशानी होती है व दुर्घटना की आशंका भी रहती है।

Kharagpur: An elderly couple died tragically after being hit by a train while crossing the line. According to the information, while crossing the line, an approximately 60 year old man was crossing the line with his wife near Radhamohanpur station between Kharagpur-Panskura. When the wife got hit by the train, the old man who went to save his wife himself got hit by the train. Both her legs were amputated while the old man died on the spot. The injured wife was taken to the hospital where she died. Kharagpur t police station has conducted the post-mortem of the wife while the old man died on the spot. GRP Kharagpur recovered the body of old man and got the post-mortem done. The bodies of both have been preserved in the Kharagpur sub divisional Hospital. The bodies of both have not been identified. GRP said that the above incident happened while crossing the line near Radhamohanpur.
Collision between two cars, major accident averted
Kharagpur: Two cars collided with each other near Cutting Kholi this afternoon due to which the car was damaged, although no one was injured. According to the information, the car of a Bank was going from CME Gate towards Town Police Station when it went out of control and collided with a car going in the opposite direction. The owner of the victim car, a resident of Jhapatapur, said that if he had not been alert, a big accident could have happened. The front tyre of the bank car burst and got damaged. Police reached the spot and took cognizance of the matter.
Bullet with sharp horn seized, young man detained
Kharagpur town police caught the Bullet driver who was running away with a loud horn from Puratan Bazaar area and brought the Bullet to the police station.
