राज्य पुलिस के साथ बेहतर समन्वय कर होगा काम, रेल संपत्ति की सुरक्षा व सुरक्षित यात्रा होगी प्राथमिकताः सीनियर डीएससी, आरपीएफ, प्रकाश पंडा

खड़गपुर, राज्य पुलिस के सहयोग से ही खड़गपुर रेल मंडल में काम होगा इसके लिए बेहतर समन्वय कर काम किया जाएगा। यह कहना है खड़गपुर रेल मंडल में आरपीएफ के नवनियुक्त सीनियर डीएससी प्रकाश पंडा। प्रकाश पंडा आज अपने सभाकक्ष में मीडिया से मुखातिब होते हुए उक्त बातें कही. सीनियर डीएससी पंडा ने कहा कि रेल संपत्ति की सुरक्षा व यात्रियों के लिए बेहतर माहौल उपलब्ध कराना उसकी प्राथमिकता होगी. बीते कई सालों से पुलिस व आरपीएफ के बीच द्वंद राज्य पुलिस की ओर से डीआरएम, एडीआरएम व आरपीएफ अधिकारियों के खिलाफ ही मामला कर देने के मामले पर उन्होने कहा कि यह उनका सातवां पोस्टिंग है व वे इससे पहले जहां भी रहे राज्य पुलिस के एसपी व आईजी से बेहतर संबंध बना कामों का निबटारा किया है व इस बार भी उच्च पुलिस अधिकारियों से वह बात करेंगे. ताकि रेल संपत्ति को सुरक्षित रखा जा सके.
सीनियर डीएससी प्रकाश पंडा ने कहा कि शनिवार को वे खड़गपुर पहुंचे व आज सबसे पहले पत्रकारों से मुलाकात की ताकि यहां की समस्याओं से वह अवगत हो सके उन्होने कहा कि आज वे अपना कामकाज संभालेंगे व अधिकारियों से बैठक कर ज्वलंत समस्याओं का संज्ञान में लेंग उन्होने कहा क वह मीडिया से भी बेहतर संबंधों के पक्षधऱ है।
बोगदा में बेवजह अड्डाबाजी की समस्या हो या बोगदा, मालगोदाम व हिजली में शराब सहित नशीले पदार्थों की बिक्री का मामला हो अपराधों पर अकुश लगाने के लिए कड़ी कार्ऱवाई की जाएगी। गोलबाजार में अतिक्रमण के कारण जाम व इंदा इलाके में रेल के सामान के चोरी चले जाने को भी संज्ञान में लेने की बात कही।
उन्होंने कहा कि ट्रेनों से होने वाले मानव तस्करी के खिलाफ अभियान चलाया जाएगा व चोरी, डकैती व राहजनी पर भी अंकुश लगाया जाएगा। इसके अलावा लोकल ट्रेनों के लेडीज कंपार्टमेंट में पुरुषों के प्रवेश के खिलाफ अभियान चलाया जाएगा। उन्होने ट्रेनों विशेषकर वंदे भारत में पत्थर बाजी पर चिंता जाहिर करते हुए लोगों को इस तरह के अपराधों से दूर रहने की सलाह दी व कहा कि इन दिनों वंदे भारत ट्रेनों के बाहर कैमरे लगे होते हैं। जिससे स्टोन पेलटरों के फोटो रिकार्ड हो रहे हैं व आरोपियों की शिनाख्ती आसान हो रही है जिससे कार्ऱवाई में लाभ मिल रहा है।
ज्ञात हो कि सीनियर डीएससी पंडा इससे पहले दानापुर में सीनियर डीएससी के पद पर रहे हैं। इससे पहले खड़गपुर के सीनियर डीएससी ओंकार सिंह थे जिनका तबादला जयपुर हो चुका
है.

Senior DSC Panda said that security of railway property and providing a better environment for the passengers will be his priority. On the issue of conflict between police and RPF for the past several years and the state police filing a case against DRM, ADRM and RPF officials, he said that this is his seventh posting and wherever he has been before this, he has settled the work by building better relations with the SP and IG of the state police and this time also he will talk to the senior police officers. So that the railway property can be kept safe.
Senior DSC Prakash Panda said that he reached Kharagpur on Saturday and first of all met the journalists today so that he could be aware of the problems here. He said that today he will take charge of his work and will take cognizance of the burning problems by meeting the officials. He said that he is also in favor of better relations with the media.
Whether it is the problem of unnecessary loitering in Bogda or the matter of sale of intoxicants including liquor in Bogda, Goods Shed and Hijli, strict action will be taken to curb the crimes. He also said that the jam due to encroachment in Golbazar and the theft of railway goods in Inda area will also be taken cognizance of.
He said that a campaign will be launched against human trafficking through trains and theft, robbery and highway robbery will also be curbed. Apart from this, a campaign will be launched against the entry of men in the ladies compartment of local trains. Expressing concern over stone pelting in trains, especially Vande Bharat, he advised people to stay away from such crimes and said that these days cameras are installed outside Vande Bharat trains. Due to which photos of stone pelters are being recorded and identification of the accused is becoming easy, which is helping in action.
It is known that Senior DSC Panda earlier held the post of Senior DSC in Danapur. Earlier, Senior DSC of Kharagpur was Omkar Singh who has been transferred to Jaipur.
