खड़गपुर मंडल में पार्सल व्यापारी सम्मेलन का आयोजन

खड़गपुर मंडल के वरिष्ठ मंडल वाणिज्य प्रबंधक (Sr. DCM) के कक्ष में वरिष्ठ मंडल वाणिज्य प्रबंधक श्री निशांत कुमार की अध्यक्षता में पार्सल विक्रेता सम्मेलन आयोजित किया गया।

बैठक में Sr. DOM(Co)/KGP, सभी ACM, वाणिज्य निरीक्षक, मुख्य पार्सल पर्यवेक्षक, पार्सल व्यापारियों के प्रतिनिधि, पट्टाधारक तथा अन्य संबंधित हितधारक उपस्थित थे।

बैठक के दौरान अधिकारियों ने पार्सल व्यापारियों, एग्रीगेटरों, पट्टाधारकों तथा व्यापारिक संगठनों के प्रतिनिधियों के साथ बातचीत की और पार्सल परिचालन, ग्राहक सुविधा तथा पार्सल स्पेस के अधिकतम उपयोग के माध्यम से आय बढ़ाने से संबंधित मुद्दों पर चर्चा की। प्रतिभागियों से परिचालन संबंधी चुनौतियों, बुकिंग की सहजता, पार्सल प्रबंधन सुविधाओं तथा अन्य सुधार योग्य क्षेत्रों पर सुझाव आमंत्रित किए गए।

श्री निशांत कुमार, Sr. DCM/खड़गपुर ने पार्सल एग्रीगेटरों, MSMEs, ई-कॉमर्स संस्थाओं तथा स्थानीय व्यापारियों के साथ मजबूत साझेदारी स्थापित करने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया ताकि लॉजिस्टिक्स दक्षता बढ़े और रेलवे को एक किफायती एवं विश्वसनीय परिवहन साधन के रूप में और अधिक बढ़ावा मिले। उन्होंने हितधारकों को सेवाओं में सुधार के लिए नवाचारपूर्ण प्रस्ताव रखने हेतु प्रोत्साहित किया और मंडल की ओर से हरसंभव सहयोग का आश्वासन दिया।

सम्मेलन का समापन सार्थक चर्चाओं के साथ हुआ, जिसमें सभी ने पार्सल सेवाओं को और अधिक ग्राहक अनुकूल, प्रतिस्पर्धी तथा भारतीय रेल के लिए राजस्व उत्पन्न करने वाला बनाने की सामूहिक प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त

की।

Parcel Vendor Meet held at Kharagpur Division

A Parcel Vendor Meet was convened today at the Chamber of Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr. DCM), Kharagpur, under the chairmanship of Shri Nishant Kumar, Sr. DCM/KGP.

The meeting was attended by Sr. DOM(Co)/KGP, ACMs, Commercial Inspectors, Chief Parcel Supervisors, representatives of parcel merchants, lease holders and other stakeholders.

During the meeting, the officers interacted with parcel merchants, aggregators, lease holders and representatives of trade bodies to discuss issues related to parcel operations, customer facilitation, and improving earnings through enhanced utilization of parcel space. Feedback was invited from participants on operational challenges, ease of booking, handling facilities, and possible areas for further improvement.

Shri Nishant Kumar, Sr. DCM/KGP, stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships with parcel aggregators, MSMEs, e-commerce players, and local merchants to enhance logistics efficiency and promote railways as a cost-effective and reliable mode of transportation. He encouraged stakeholders to come forward with innovative proposals for improving services and assured them of all necessary support from the division.

The session concluded with fruitful discussions and a shared commitment towards making parcel services more customer-friendly, competitive, and revenue-generating for Indian Railways.
