खड़गपुर में नए साल का आगाज़ दुखद: बस स्टैंड पर मिला शव, दो अन्य की मौत
नए साल के उत्सव के बीच खड़गपुर और आसपास के इलाकों में दुखद घटनाओं का साया रहा। खड़गपुर बस स्टैंड से एक अज्ञात व्यक्ति का शव बरामद होने से इलाके में सनसनी फैल गई।
बस स्टैंड पर मिला अज्ञात शव
बुधवार की आधी रात, जब पूरा शहर नए साल के जश्न में डूबा था, पुलिस को सूचना मिली कि खड़गपुर बस स्टैंड पर एक व्यक्ति का शव पड़ा है। खड़गपुर टाउन थाना पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुँचकर शव को कब्जे में लिया और पोस्टमार्टम के लिए चाँदमारी भेज दिया। मृतक की उम्र लगभग 40 से 45 वर्ष बताई जा रही है, हालांकि अभी तक उसकी पहचान नहीं हो सकी है।

वहीं पिंगला थाना क्षेत्र के हरमा गाँव में 27 वर्षीय युवक तन्मय दास ने अपने घर में फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। परिजनों के अनुसार, तन्मय की पत्नी पिंकी पिछले डेढ़ महीने से अपने मायके में थी और दोनों के बीच अनबन चल रही थी। तन्मय मजदूरी का काम करता था। आज सुबह जब उसकी माँ उसे बुलाने गई, तो कमरा बंद मिला। खिड़की से देखने पर उसका शव फंदे से लटका पाया गया।
एक अन्य घटना में, खड़गपुर ग्रामीण थाना क्षेत्र के रांगामेटिया गाँव में 25 वर्षीय विवाहिता जोबा मांडी की अचानक गिर जाने से मौत हो गई। जोबा के पति दीपांकर, जो ठेकेदारी का काम करते हैं, ने बताया कि जोबा आपसी विवाद के कारण अपने मायके आई हुई थी। अचानक घर में पीछे की ओर गिरने के बाद परिजन उसे अस्पताल ले गए, जहाँ डॉक्टरों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। तन्मय और जोबा, दोनों का ही एक-एक बच्चा है।

Unidentified Body Found at Bus Stand
During the late hours of Wednesday night, as New Year festivities were underway, an unidentified body was discovered at the Kharagpur Bus Stand. Local police from the Kharagpur Town Station arrived at the scene at midnight to recover the body, which has since been sent to Chandmari for a post-mortem examination. The deceased is estimated to be between 40 and 45 years old; however, his identity remains unknown.
Fatalities Linked to Domestic Disputes
In separate incidents, domestic discord led to two more tragic deaths in the region:
Pingla Suicides: In Harma village, under the jurisdiction of the Pingla Police Station, a 27-year-old laborer named Tanmoy Das ended his life by hanging. Family members reported that Tanmoy had been distressed because his wife, Pinky Mahapatra, had been living at her paternal home for the past month and a half following a dispute. Tanmoy was discovered by his mother this morning through a window after he failed to open his door.
Accidental Death in Rangamatia: A 25-year-old married woman, Joba Mandi, died after a sudden fall at her paternal home in Rangamatia village. Her husband, Dipankar, a local contractor, stated that Joba had been staying with her parents following a disagreement. She was rushed to the hospital after the fall, where doctors declared her dead.
