Kharagpur, On second day of the lockdown kharagpur police lathichrged to disperse the people in the morning then feed the poor at night.

On the second day of the state-announced lockdown on Tuesday, the streets of the mini india were deserted, but many arbitrary people were wandering violating norms, due to which the police had to chase rung in many places including Kaushalya, Inda, Golbazar, Malancha.

Due to the lockdown in the Kharagpur workshop, DRM office, people were languishing in their homes, the central and state government offices remained closed and only a few offices got necessary work. Here, due to deserting the beggars from the station premises by railway administration, poor people were seen coming here and there.

खड़गपुर। वैश्विक आपदा कोरोना के चलते हुए लाकडाउन के दूसरे दिन आज पुलिस को लोगों को जहां डंडा चला खदेड़ना पड़ा वहीं रात में गरीबों को खाना भी खिलाए। मंगलवार को राज्य की ओर से घोषित किए गए लाकडाउन के दूसरे दिन यूं तो शहर की सड़कें सूनसान रही पर कई मनमाने लोग तफरीह करते नजर आए जिसके कारण पुलिस को कौशल्या, इंदा, गोलबाजार, मलिंचा सहित कई जगहों में डंडा चला खदेड़ना पड़ा।

                      
खड़गपुर वर्कशाप, डीआरएम कार्यालय में लाकडाउन होने के कारण लोग अपने घरों में दुबके रहे केंद्र व राज्य सरकार के कार्यालय बंद रहे सिर्फ कुछ कार्यालयों में जरुरी काम हुए। इधर रेल प्रशासन की ओर से भिखारियों को स्टेशन परिसर से खदेड़ देने के कारण लोग बोगदा व इधर उधर पड़े दिखे। इधर पुलिस प्रशासन की ओर से शाम में फिर से दुकानदारों को बंद कराने के लिए निकलना पड़ा।

एसडीपीओ खड़गपुर सुकमल कांति दास का कहना है कि सख्ती नहीं बरतने से दुकानदार व लोग दोनों ही जोखिम लेने को तैयार रहते हैं।

इधर रात में एडिशनल एसपी काज शमसुद्दीन अहमद खड़गपुर शहर थाना प्रभारी व अन्य वरीय अधिकारी गरीब व बेघरों को खाना खिलाते नजर आए गिरि मैदान, गोलबाजार, बोगदा सहित अन्य जगहों पर सोए हुए भिखारियों को खाना खिलाया गया।

खड़गपुर। कोरोना को देखते हुए जहां देश भर के छोटे बड़े मंदिरों के कपाट बंद है लोग घर से ही अपनी आस्था प्रकट कर रहे हैं वहीं खरीदा के रहने वाले व्यवसायी ने सार्वजनिक तौर पर महाभोग का आयोजन कर दिया जिसमें पांच सौ लोगों को आमंत्रण मिला था हांलाकि पुलिस एक्शन मे आई तो लोग भोग खाए बिना वहां से भागे पुलिस आयोजक को चेतावनी दे निजी मुचलका में रिहा किया। ज्ञात हो कि गोलबाजार के स्वर्ण दुकान में काम करने वाले व जमीन व्यवसाया से जुड़े गौतम महंत बीते कई सालों से काली पूजा का आयोजन करता है व हजारों लोगों को भोग खिलाता है इस साल भी भोग का आयोजन किया था पर कोरोना को देखते हुए आयोजन स्थगित करने के बजाय सोमवार की रात मां काली की पूजा अर्चना सार्वजनिक तौर पर की गई व आज दोपहर में पांच सौ लोगों के महाभोग का इंतजाम किया गया था जिसमें कथित तौर पर स्वनामधन्य लोग आमंत्रित थे।पता चला है कि कई लोग कोरोना के तहत आयोजन से दूर रहने की बात कहने पर पुलिस अधिकारी व नेताओं के खुद आयोजन में पहुंचने की बात कह आयोजन टालने के पक्ष में नहीं था गौतम।

इधर आज दोपहर पुलिस के उच्च अधिकारियों को मामले की खबर मिली तो खड़गपुर के एडिशनल एसपी भोग शुरु होने के समय पहुंचे उस वक्त लोग भोग खाना शुरु ही किए थे पुलिस का रौद्र रुप देख भक्तगण वहां से उलटे पांव लौटना ही उचित समझा। बाद में भोग को इलाके में बांटा गया इधर सरकारी निर्देश का उल्लंघन करने के अपराध में आयोजक गौतम महंता को थाना लाया गया बाद में निजी मुचलके पर उसे रिहा कर दिया गया। वार्ड नंबर 19 के टीएमसी पार्षद राजू गुप्ता का कहना है कि आयोजक को संयम बरतना चाहिए था मामले को राजनीतिक रंग नहीं दिया जाना चाहिए।

Kharagpur, Kharagpur College Principal Bidyut Kumar Samant handed over 150 bottles of 200 mL sanitizer to Vaibhav Chaudhary, SDO of Kharagpur today. Kharagpur College Principal Bidyut Kumar Samant told that the teachers, students and staff of the chemical department was made sanitizers in the lab keeping in mind the standards of the World Health Organization.

some teachers, students & staff were also distributed sanitizers.  Principal told that the employees of the SDO office were also given a simple method of making sanitizer so that other people can also take advantage of it. SDO  said that women of Self Help Group would be used in this work so that they can also benefit.

Prof. Indranil Chakraborty of the Department of Chemistry said that with the help of ethanol, glycerin and distilled water, hydrogen paraoxide can be made cheaply as a sanitizer and can add methylene blue for color, while making 100 mL will cost only Rs 72. Students who were prepared sanitizer were Suman Mukherjee, Amlan Bhattacharya, Ritam Das, Amitava Manna. After learning the method, the employees of the SDO office made sanitizers today.  Due to demand and unavailability of sanitizer in the market, people are suffering.Hope this initiative will help to tackle with crisis.

खड़गपुर। खड़गपुर कालेज के प्राचार्य विद्युत कुमार सामंत ने आज खड़गपुर के एसडीओ वैभव चौधरी को 200 एमएल के 150 बोतल सेनिटाइजर सौंपे। खड़गपुर कालेज प्राचार्य विद्युत कुमार सामंत ने बताया कि रसायन विभाग के शिक्षक, छात्र व कर्मचारियों ने विश्व स्वास्थय संगठन के मानकों को ध्यान में रखकर लैब में सेनिटाइजर बनाए व एसडीओ को 150 कंटेनर सेनिटाइजर सौंपा गया इसके अलावा शिक्षक कर्मचारी व छात्रों को भी सेनिटाइजर बांटा गया। प्राचार्य ने बताया कि एसडोओ कार्यालय के कर्मचारियों को सेनिटाइजर बनाने की सरल विधि भी बताई गई ताकि इसका लाभ अन्य लोग भी उठा सके।

एसडीओ ने कहा कि सेल्फ हेल्प ग्रुप के महिलाओं को इस काम में उपयोग किया जाएगा ताकि वे भी लाभान्वित हो सके। रसायन विभाग के प्रो, इंद्रनील चक्रवर्ती ने बताया कि इथानोल, ग्लीसरीन व डिस्टिल्ड वाटर, हाइड्रोजन पैराक्साइड की मदद से सस्ते में सेनिटाइजर बनाया जा सकता है व रंग के लिए मिथिलीन ब्लू मिला सकते हैं जबकि 100 एमएल बनाने में मात्र 72 रु कीमत आएगी।

सेनिटाइजर तैयार करने वालों में छात्र सुमन मुखर्जी, अमलान भट्टाचार्य, रीतम दासव अमिताभ मान्ना शामिल रहे। ज्ञात हो कि बाजार में सेनिटाइजर की अनुपलब्धता के कारण लोग परेशान है।

Many people shopped fiercely today. The lockdown was declared in Kharagpur city from five o’clock on Monday, but many shopkeepers and people neglected  it, due to which the police had to close the shops and the people had to drive away.

Police reached Golbazar, Gatebazar, kharida, Nimpura, Malancha etc in the evening and got the shops closed, SDPO Sukmal Kanti Das told that if people show up wandering inexplicably from Tuesday or if shops are found open violating rules then they would take strong action.

खड़गपुर। खड़गपुर शहर में लाकडाउन को सफल बनाने के लिए पुलिस को मैदान में उतरना पड़ा इससे पहले आरपीएफ ने भी रेल इलाकों के एंट्री प्वाइंट में लोगों को घुसने देने के लिए सख्ती बरती जबकि कई लोग बस स्टैंड में अपने अपने घऱों में जाने के लिए परेशान दिखे जबकि कई लोगों ने आज जमकर खरीददारी की।

ज्ञात हो कि सोमवार पांच बजे से खड़गपुर शहर में लाकडाउन घोषित किया गया था पर कई दुकानदार व लोग इससे बेखबर दिखे जिसके कारण पुलिस को दुकाने बंद करवानी पड़ी व लोगों को भगाना पड़ा।

पुलिस गोलबाजार, गेटबाजार, खरीदा, नीमपुरा, मलिंचा आदि इलाकों मे शाम में पहुंची व दुकानों को बंद करवाया एसडीपीओ सुकमल कांति दास का कहना है कि मंगलवार से अगर लोग बेवजह घूमते दिखाई दिये या शाम के बाद दुकानें खुली मिली तो सख्ती से पेश आएंगे।

एएसपी ने प्रिवेंशन को इलाज से बेहतर बताते हुए कोरोना से लड़ने के लिए मेंटली एटैचड बट फिजिकली डिटैचड का नारा दिया इससे पहले आज सुबह खड़गपुर नगरपालिका में कोरोना से लड़ने के लिए की गई तैयारियों को लेकर प्रशासनिक बैठक हुई जिसमें एसडीओ वैभव चौधरी, विधायक प्रदीप सरकार व अन्य उपस्थित हुए।

इधर लोग ज्यादा पैसे देकर बसों में यात्रा करने के लिए विवश दिखे। लाकडाउन को देखते हुए रेल प्रशासन ने खड़गपुर वर्कशाप को 27 तारिख तक के लिए छुट्टी घोषित कर दिया है।

आरपीएफ पुरातन बाजार मोड़, छोटा टेंगरा, साउथ साइड, नीमपुरा सहित कई जगहों में रेल इलाको में प्रवेश करने वालों से पूछताछ की सोमवार सुबह से ही खड़गपुर के बाजारों में काफी भीड़ रही।
