RPF ने गैर-कानूनी रेलवे ई-टिकटिंग और तत्काल बुकिंग रैकेट पर कार्रवाई की; दो आरोपियों पर रेलवे एक्ट के तहत केस दर्ज

गैर-कानूनी रेलवे टिकटिंग और बिना इजाज़त के तत्काल बुकिंग की गतिविधियों के खिलाफ लगातार चल रही कार्रवाई में, खड़गपुर डिवीजन के रेलवे प्रोटेक्शन फोर्स ने गैर-कानूनी रेलवे ई-टिकटिंग के दो अलग-अलग मामलों का सफलतापूर्वक पता लगाया है और आरोपियों के खिलाफ रेलवे एक्ट की धारा 143 के तहत कानूनी कार्रवाई की है।
पहले मामले में, गैर-कानूनी तत्काल टिकट बुकिंग और एक बिना इजाज़त एजेंट द्वारा ज़्यादा पैसे लेने की रेल मदद शिकायत के बाद कार्रवाई शुरू की गई थी। RPF पंसकुरा ने पूरी जांच की। जांच के दौरान, शिकायतकर्ता ने संदिग्ध एजेंट का मोबाइल नंबर शेयर किया, जिसकी पहचान महातपुर, पंसकुरा, पूर्व मेदिनीपुर के रहने वाले श्यामल पानीग्रही के रूप में हुई।
आरोपी से संपर्क किया गया और उसे वेरिफिकेशन के लिए RPF पोस्ट/पंसकुरा में पेश होने के लिए कहा गया। 26.05.2026 को, वह अपने लैपटॉप के साथ पोस्ट पर गया। RPF अधिकारियों की चेकिंग और पूछताछ के दौरान, उसके लैपटॉप से एक लाइव रेलवे रिज़र्वेशन टिकट और दो इस्तेमाल किए गए प्रीमियम तत्काल ई-टिकट मिले। आरोपी रेलवे टिकटिंग का बिज़नेस करने के लिए कोई वैलिड अथॉरिटी नहीं दिखा सका और उसने पर्सनल/फेक यूज़र ID का इस्तेमाल करके असली टिकट किराए से 200 रुपये ज़्यादा लेकर आम लोगों को गैर-कानूनी तरीके से रेलवे ई-टिकट खरीदने और बेचने की बात कबूल की।
RPF अधिकारियों ने सही तरीके से बरामद रेलवे ई-टिकट और एक लैपटॉप ज़ब्त कर लिया। ज़ब्त की गई कुल कीमत 7,872.15 रुपये थी। इसलिए, आरोपी के खिलाफ रेलवे एक्ट के सेक्शन 143 के तहत केस नंबर 1128/26 तारीख 26.05.2026 को RPF पोस्ट/पंसकुरा में रजिस्टर किया गया।
एक और मामले में, 20.05.2026 को PRS सिटी काउंटर, नंदीग्राम, पूर्बा मेदिनीपुर पर डिविजनल टास्क टीम ने एक ड्राइव की, जिसमें गैर-कानूनी तत्काल टिकटिंग का शक था। RPF टीम को देखकर, नंदीग्राम का रहने वाला सुवंकर पांडा नाम का एक आदमी काउंटर से भाग गया, और एक कन्फर्म तत्काल रिज़र्वेशन टिकट और रिफंड कैश छोड़ गया।
ऑपरेशन के दौरान, RPF ने ट्रेन नंबर 12841 का एक प्रीमियम तत्काल कन्फर्म रिज़र्वेशन टिकट, जो खड़गपुर से MGR चेन्नई सेंट्रल जा रहा था, जिसकी कीमत Rs. 8,460/- थी, ज़ब्त किया, साथ ही आरोपी का जमा किया गया ओरिजिनल रिक्विजिशन फॉर्म और Rs. 440/- का रिफंड कैश भी ज़ब्त किया।
RPF टास्क टीम की FIR के आधार पर, फरार आरोपी के खिलाफ RPF पोस्ट/तमलुक में केस दर्ज किया गया। इसके बाद, भरोसेमंद सोर्स से मिली जानकारी के आधार पर, 26.05.2026 को RPF पोस्ट/तमलुक के अधिकारियों ने नंदीग्राम में आरोपी के घर पर रेड की। आरोपी, सुवंकर पांडा को पकड़ लिया गया, और उसे आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई के लिए 27.05.2026 को CJM/तमलुक की माननीय कोर्ट में पेश किया गया।
खड़गपुर डिवीजन गैर-कानूनी रेलवे टिकटिंग और बिना इजाज़त के रिज़र्वेशन एक्टिविटीज़ को रोकने के लिए पक्का इरादा रखता है। यात्रियों को सलाह दी जाती है कि वे धोखाधड़ी, ज़्यादा पैसे लेने और परेशानी से बचने के लिए सिर्फ़ ऑथराइज़्ड तरीकों से ही रेलवे टिकट बुक करें।
RPF Cracks Down on Illegal Railway E-Ticketing and Tatkal Booking Rackets; Two Accused Booked Under Railway Act
Kharagpur, 27.05.2026:
In a sustained drive against illegal railway ticketing and unauthorised Tatkal booking activities, the Railway Protection Force of Kharagpur Division has successfully detected two separate cases of illegal railway e-ticketing and taken legal action against the accused under Section 143 of the Railways Act.
In the first case, action was initiated following a Rail Madad Complaint regarding illegal Tatkal ticket booking and overcharging by an unauthorised agent. RPF Panskura undertook a detailed enquiry. During investigation, the complainant shared the mobile number of the suspected agent, identified as Shyamal Panigrahi, resident of Mahatpur, Panskura, Purba Medinipur.
The accused was contacted and asked to appear at RPF Post/Panskura for verification. On 26.05.2026, he attended the post with his laptop. During checking and interrogation by RPF officials, one live railway reservation ticket and two used Premium Tatkal e-tickets were detected from his laptop. The accused failed to produce any valid authority for conducting railway ticketing business and confessed to illegally procuring and selling railway e-tickets to the general public by charging an additional Rs. 200 per passenger above the actual ticket fare using personal/fake user IDs.
RPF officials seized the recovered railway e-tickets and one laptop under proper procedure. The total seized value amounted to Rs. 7,872.15. Accordingly, Case No. 1128/26 dated 26.05.2026 under Section 143 of the Railways Act was registered at RPF Post/Panskura against the accused.
In another case, a drive conducted by the Divisional Task Team on 20.05.2026 at PRS City Counter, Nandigram, Purba Medinipur, led to the detection of suspected illegal Tatkal ticketing activity. On seeing the RPF team, one person identified as Suvankar Panda, resident of Nandigram, fled from the counter, leaving behind a confirmed Tatkal reservation ticket and refund cash amount.
During the operation, RPF seized one Premium Tatkal confirmed reservation ticket of Train No. 12841, ex-Kharagpur to MGR Chennai Central, valued at Rs. 8,460/-, along with the original requisition form submitted by the accused and refund cash of Rs. 440/-.
Based on the FIR submitted by the RPF Task Team, a Case was registered at RPF Post/Tamluk against the absconding accused. Subsequently, acting on reliable source information, a raid was conducted on 26.05.2026 by RPF Post/Tamluk officials at the accused’s residence in Nandigram. The accused, Suvankar Panda, was apprehended, and He was produced before the Hon’ble Court of CJM/Tamluk on 27.05.2026 for further legal action.
Kharagpur Division remains committed to curb illegal railway ticketing and unauthorised reservation activities. Passengers are advised to book railway tickets only through authorised channels to avoid fraud, overcharging and inconvenience.
