kharagpur, SERMC KGP Division and Workshop branches given deputation regarding the Covid-19 patient admitted in Divisional Railway Hospital of Kharagpur. It was requested to shift the patient to Covid-19 hospital earmarked by the State government. The Railway hospital is located in the midst of residential area and moreover, there are different types of patients admitted in the hospital like maternity, children, heart patients etc.the patients with other ailments may fall in risk of spread of the deadly disease.
A representation was handed over to CMS and DRM, Kharagpur urging to save the non-covid in-patients by considering our plea.

 A Blood donation camp has been organised by kharagpur town Police station on 02/05/2020 at PS campus. Kharagpur sub divisional hospital blood bank collected blood from 36 police personnel and the event was graced by AddlSP (HQ), SDPO Kharagpur and superintendent of  SD Hospital, kharagpur.
