Alumni association of SERMHS(EM), Kharagpur organised a felicitation and farewell program for J S Tanti, Principal, SERMHS(EM) school. K surendra Reddy, Org secy of association said dedication of Sri. Tanti towards his duty to the school was laudable. BNR Excellence Academy of Kharagpur was his concept supported by Higher Authorities of Railways which started in the year 2019. Start of BNR Excellence Academy was a dream concept. Entire Paschim Medinipur students preferred BNR Excellence Academy due the conceptual education provided by the Railway teachers. 317 students were enrolled for class XI in the inaugural year itself which was surprised for some other counterparts.
This year students of this school bagged 5 seats in IIT, 13 seats in NIT, 3 seats in NEET & many seats in WBJEE, etc. which is the result of the quality education given by the School. Presently BNR Academy is No. 1 Railway school of Indian Railways. Sri. Tanti also took initiative to start a Kendriya Vidyalaya, Railway Colony which helped many students with new vacancies. Apart being school principal, Sri. Tanti distributed more than 8000 cloth masks to Railway Hospital and other needy. It is learnt that Mr.Tanti. is going to retire on 31st of august Officially .Alumni executive members attended for the program were Steven Dcruz, B Prabhakar, Murali, Chaitanya, Rani Mukherjee, Kiran, Ajay Kumar, Amarjeet Singh, S.P.Haran.
