आईआईटी खड़गपुर ने नेशनल यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ ज्यूरिडिकल साइंसेज के साथ किया MOU हस्ताक्षर, कानून व तकनीकी सहित अन्य विषयोंकी होगी पढ़ाई

 

IIT Kharagpur signs an MoU with National University of Juridical Sciences

 

September  2023, Kharagpur, India: Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) to organize joint academic programme and faculty support for various courses to contribute knowledge and literature in multidisciplinary domains identifying areas of studies and research leading to patent rights, copyrights and other intellectual property rights in accordance with polices on intellectual property. The MoU was signed by Dr. Nirmal Kanti Chakrabarti, Vice-Chancellor, WB National University of Juridical Sciences in the august presence of Prof. V K Tewari, Director; Prof. Dipa Dube, Dean, Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law; Prof. Debashish Chakravarty, Associate Dean, Alumni Affairs/IR; Captain Amit Jain (Retd.), Registrar of IIT Kharagpur along with senior professors of NUJS. 

 

Apart from academic exchanges, certificate/diploma courses relating to law, science, engineering, technology and practical training along with facilities will be initiated between the partner institutes.  

 

Prof. V K Tewari, Director, IIT Kharagpur stated, “On the lines of multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary development of students mentioned in NEP 2020, this academic exchanges will indeed be beneficial to generate translational research domains that encompasses both law and technology. Our law school has been recognized among the top 10 in India by NIRF ranking 2023 and we hope to amalgamate technical studies with law in a larger perspective of excellence in mutually convergent areas of both the domains.” 

 

Dr. Nirmal Kanti Chakrabarti, Vice-Chancellor, The WB National University of Juridical Sciences remarked, “The MoU entered between IIT Kharagpur and West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences will give us a new opportunity to do academic collaboration and research which interfaces Law and Technology. The systems of both the institutions will grow by exchanging our human resources as well as academic resources, thereby attempting to fulfill the objectives of NEP2020. We start our collaboration within this month itself in formulating some road map.”

01 सितंबर, 2023, खड़गपुर, भारत: भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान खड़गपुर ने  पश्चिम बंगाल नेशनल यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ ज्यूरिडिकल साइंसेज (एनयूजेएस) के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन (समझौता ज्ञापन) पर हस्ताक्षर किए। बहु-विषयक डोमेन में बौद्धिक संपदा पर नीतियों के अनुसार पेटेंट अधिकार, कॉपीराइट और अन्य बौद्धिक संपदा अधिकारों के लिए अध्ययन और अनुसंधान के क्षेत्रों की पहचान करना। एमओयू पर डॉ. निर्मल कांति चक्रवर्ती, कुलपति, डब्ल्यूबी नेशनल यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ ज्यूरिडिकल साइंसेज ने प्रोफेसर वी.के. तिवारी, निदेशक की गरिमामय उपस्थिति में हस्ताक्षर किए; प्रोफेसर दीपा दुबे, डीन, राजीव गांधी स्कूल ऑफ इंटेलेक्चुअल प्रॉपर्टी लॉ; प्रो. देबाशीष चक्रवर्ती, एसोसिएट डीन, पूर्व छात्र मामले/आईआर; एनयूजेएस के वरिष्ठ प्रोफेसरों के साथ आईआईटी खड़गपुर के रजिस्ट्रार कैप्टन अमित जैन (सेवानिवृत्त)।

शैक्षणिक आदान-प्रदान के अलावा, भागीदार संस्थानों के बीच सुविधाओं के साथ कानून, विज्ञान, इंजीनियरिंग, प्रौद्योगिकी और व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण से संबंधित प्रमाणपत्र/डिप्लोमा पाठ्यक्रम शुरू किए जाएंगे।

आईआईटी खड़गपुर के निदेशक प्रोफेसर वी के तिवारी ने कहा, “एनईपी 2020 में उल्लिखित छात्रों के बहु-विषयक और ट्रांसडिसिप्लिनरी विकास की तर्ज पर, यह अकादमिक आदान-प्रदान वास्तव में अनुवाद संबंधी अनुसंधान डोमेन उत्पन्न करने के लिए फायदेमंद होगा जो कानून और प्रौद्योगिकी दोनों को शामिल करता है। हमारे लॉ स्कूल को एनआईआरएफ रैंकिंग 2023 द्वारा भारत में शीर्ष 10 में मान्यता दी गई है और हम दोनों डोमेन के पारस्परिक रूप से अभिसरण क्षेत्रों में उत्कृष्टता के एक बड़े परिप्रेक्ष्य में तकनीकी अध्ययन को कानून के साथ मिलाने की उम्मीद करते हैं।

 

डॉ. निर्मल कांति चक्रवर्ती, कुलपति, डब्ल्यूबी नेशनल यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ ज्यूरिडिकल साइंसेज ने टिप्पणी की, “आईआईटी खड़गपुर और पश्चिम बंगाल नेशनल यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ ज्यूरिडिकल साइंसेज के बीच हुआ समझौता ज्ञापन हमें अकादमिक सहयोग और अनुसंधान करने का एक नया अवसर देगा जो कानून को जोड़ता है। और तकनीकी। हमारे मानव संसाधनों के साथ-साथ शैक्षणिक संसाधनों के आदान-प्रदान से दोनों संस्थानों की प्रणालियाँ विकसित होंगी, जिससे NEP2020 के उद्देश्यों को पूरा करने का प्रयास किया जाएगा। हम इसी महीने कुछ रोडमैप तैयार करने के लिए अपना सहयोग शुरू कर रहे हैं।”
