The Regional Level Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan’s 31st National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC)-2023, themed “Understanding Ecosystem for Health and Well-being” was hosted by Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, IIT Kharagpur on 6th and 7th October 2023.
The Inaugural ceremony began with the formal lighting of the lamp. Mr. Chandrasekhar Singh,Principal I/C, KV No 1 IIT, Chief Guest Prof Rintu Banerjee,ean, Research and Development, IIT Kharagpur, Guest of Hounour Shri Sanjib Sinha, Assistant Commissioner Kolkata Region, Shri Ashok Kumar Singh, Principal KV Command Hospital & Regional Coordinator 31st NCSC and the Resource persons from different schools of Kolkata Region graced the occasion with their benign presence.
Mr. Singh, Principal I/C of KV No.1, IIT Kharagpur, formally welcomed the gathering and explained how NCSC kindles the curiosity of the young minds and stretches and nurtures the imaginative faculty of the children. The Chief Guest, in her address shared her personal experiences with NCSC and extended her appreciation and wishes for the participants. Guest of Honour, Shri Sanjib Sinha, Assistant Commissioner, KVS-RO, Kolkata encouraged out the participants’ fullest potential and ignited the minds of the budding scientists to unfold their creative and inquisitive mind.
Students qualified from clusters of KVS Kolkata region from 58 different KVs presented 201 projects on various sub-themes: Know your ecosystem, Fostering health, nutrition and well-being, Social and cultural practices for ecosystem and health, Ecosystem based approach for self-reliance and Technological innovation for ecosystem and health, under two different categories Juniors (10 to less than 14) and Seniors (14 to less than 17). 98 girls and 103 boys participated in this program. The projects will be evaluated by a panel of judges from Dept. of Agriculture and Food Engineering, Dept. of Physics, Dept. of Humanities and Social Science, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
The program ended with thanking all the guests, judges and participants.
केंद्रीय विद्यालय क्रमांक 1 भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान खड़गपुर में संभाग स्तरीय राष्ट्रीय बाल विज्ञान सम्मेलन 2023 का शुभारंभ।
संभाग स्तरीय केंद्रीय विद्यालय संगठन की 31वीं राष्ट्रीय बाल विज्ञान कांग्रेस (एनसीएससी)-2023, जिसका विषय “स्वास्थ्य और कल्याण के लिए पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को समझना” था, 6 और 7 अक्टूबर 2023 को केंद्रीय विद्यालय आईआईटी खड़गपुर द्वारा आयोजित की गई ।
दीप प्रज्वलन के साथ विधिवत रूप से कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया गया विद्यालय के की बालिकाओं ने स्वागत गीत और शास्त्रीय नृत्य प्रस्तुत किया श्री चन्द्रशेखर सिंह, प्राचार्य ( प्रभारी) मुख्य अतिथि प्रोफेसर रिंटू बनर्जी, ईईएन, अनुसंधान और विकास, आईआईटी खड़गपुर, विशिष्ट अतिथि श्री संजीब सिन्हा(सहायक आयुक्त कोलकाता संभाग)श्री अशोक कुमार सिंह, प्रिंसिपल केवी कमांड अस्पताल एवं क्षेत्रीय समन्वयक 31वें एनसीएससी और कोलकाता संभाग के विभिन्न केंद्रीय विद्यालय के संसाधन व्यक्तियों ने अपनी सौम्य उपस्थिति से इस अवसर की शोभा बढ़ाई।
प्रभारी प्राचार्य श्री सिंह ने औपचारिक रूप से सभा का स्वागत किया और बताया कि कैसे एनसीएससी युवा मन की जिज्ञासा को जगाता है और बच्चों की कल्पनाशील क्षमता को बढ़ाता है और पोषित करता है। मुख्य अतिथि ने अपने संबोधन में एनसीएससी के साथ अपने व्यक्तिगत अनुभव साझा किए और प्रतिभागियों के लिए अपनी सराहना और शुभकामनाएं दीं। सम्मानित अतिथि, श्री संजीब सिन्हा, सहायक आयुक्त, केवीएस-आरओ, कोलकाता ने प्रतिभागियों की पूर्ण क्षमता को प्रोत्साहित किया और उभरते वैज्ञानिकों के दिमाग को उनके रचनात्मक और जिज्ञासु दिमाग को उजागर करने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
कोलकाता संभाग के 58 केंद्रीय विद्यालयों से 201 विद्यार्थियों ने विषय अप विषय संबंधित परियोजनाएं प्रस्तुत कीं: अपने पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को जानें, स्वास्थ्य, पोषण और कल्याण को बढ़ावा देना, पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र और स्वास्थ्य के लिए सामाजिक और सांस्कृतिक अभ्यास, आत्मनिर्भरता के लिए पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र आधारित दृष्टिकोण और पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र और स्वास्थ्य के लिए तकनीकी नवाचार, दो अलग-अलग श्रेणियों कनिष्ठ वर्ग (10 से 14 से कम) और वरिष्ठ (14 से 17 ) इस कार्यक्रम में 98 लड़कियों और 103 लड़कों ने भाग लिया। परियोजनाओं का मूल्यांकन कृषि और खाद्य इंजीनियरिंग विभाग, भौतिकी विभाग, मानविकी और सामाजिक विज्ञान विभाग, भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, खड़गपुर से प्रोफेसर एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर निर्णायक के रूप में अपनी उपस्थिति दी यह कार्यक्रम 6-7 अक्टूबर तक चलेगा
कार्यक्रम का समापन सभी अतिथियों, निर्णायकों एवं प्रतिभागियों को धन्यवाद देने के साथ हुआ।
