केंद्रीय रेल, सूचना एवं प्रसारण तथा इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री श्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने ग्वालियर से बेंगलुरु के लिए शुरू की गई नई साप्ताहिक एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन के शुभारंभ किया। इस अवसर पर रेल भवन से वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से मध्य प्रदेश की जनता को संबोधित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि यह ट्रेन ग्वालियर, गुना, भोपाल सहित मध्य प्रदेश के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के यात्रियों के लिए अत्यंत लाभकारी सिद्ध होगी, जहाँ से बड़ी संख्या में लोग बेंगलुरु की ओर यात्रा करते हैं।

केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री ने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में मध्य प्रदेश में रेलवे के क्षेत्र में ऐतिहासिक प्रगति हुई है। एक दशक पूर्व जहाँ राज्य को ₹600 करोड़ के आसपास रेल बजट प्राप्त होता था, वहीं वर्तमान में ₹14,745 करोड़ का रेल बजट आवंटित किया गया है। मध्य प्रदेश में 100 प्रतिशत रेल विद्युतीकरण पूर्ण किया जा चुका है। बीते 11 वर्षों में राज्य में 2,651 किलोमीटर नई रेल पटरियाँ बिछाई गई हैं, जो डेनमार्क जैसे देश के कुल रेल नेटवर्क से भी अधिक है। राज्य में 80 रेलवे स्टेशनों का पुनर्विकास कार्य प्रगति पर है, जिनमें ग्वालियर स्टेशन का विकास विशेष वास्तुकला के साथ किया जा रहा है।

श्री वैष्णव ने बताया कि ग्वालियर और आगरा के बीच एक नई यात्री ट्रेन सेवा शुरू करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। साथ ही, मध्य प्रदेश में कई महत्वपूर्ण रेल परियोजनाओं को स्वीकृति प्रदान की गई है। इनमें मनमाड–इंदौर नई रेललाइन (309 किमी) ₹18,036 करोड़ की लागत से, भुसावल–खंडवा तीसरी और चौथी लाइन ₹3,514 करोड़ की लागत से, मानिकपुर–प्रयागराज तीसरी लाइन ₹1,640 करोड़ में तथा रतलाम–नागदा तीसरी और चौथी लाइन ₹1,018 करोड़ की लागत से शामिल हैं। बीते एक वर्ष में राज्य में ₹24,000 करोड़ की रेल परियोजनाएँ स्वीकृत की गई हैं, जो मध्य प्रदेश के रेल मानचित्र को पूरी तरह बदल देंगी।

सिंहस्थ कुंभ की तैयारियों का उल्लेख करते हुए उन्होंने बताया कि उज्जैन स्टेशन के पुनर्विकास के लिए मास्टर प्लान तैयार है। स्टेशन पर कार्य सिंहस्थ आयोजन के बाद आरंभ किया जाएगा, जिससे यात्रियों को किसी प्रकार की असुविधा न हो। उज्जैन के साथ ही इंदौर सहित आसपास के अन्य स्टेशनों पर भी कार्य तेजी से चल रहा है।

गाड़ी संख्या 11086 ग्वालियर–बेंगलुरु एक्सप्रेस प्रत्येक शुक्रवार को दोपहर 15:00 बजे ग्वालियर से प्रस्थान करेगी और नागपुर, काचेगुड़ा, धर्मावरम होते हुए रविवार सुबह 07:35 बजे सर एम. विश्वेश्वरैया टर्मिनल, बेंगलुरु पहुँचेगी। वापसी में, गाड़ी संख्या 11085 प्रत्येक रविवार को शाम 15:50 बजे बेंगलुरु से रवाना होकर मंगलवार को सुबह 10:25 बजे ग्वालियर पहुँचेगी। यह गाड़ी शिवपुरी, गुना, अशोकनगर, बीना, भोपाल, बैतूल, नागपुर, सेवाग्राम, चंद्रपुर, बल्लारशाह, सिरपुर कागजनगर, काजीपेट, काचेगुड़ा, महबूबनगर, गडवाल, कुरनूल सिटी, ढोन, अनंतपुर, धर्मावरम, हिंदूपुर और येलहांका स्टेशनों पर रुकेगी।

इस साप्ताहिक ट्रेन में कुल 22 एलएचबी कोच होंगे, जिनमें चार सेकंड सिटिंग, चार तृतीय वा

Union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting, and Electronics & Information Technology, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, inaugurated a new weekly express train from Gwalior to Bengaluru. On this occasion, he addressed the people of Madhya Pradesh via video conferencing from Rail Bhavan.
He stated that this train will prove highly beneficial for passengers from various regions of Madhya Pradesh such as Gwalior, Guna, and Bhopal, from where a large number of people travel towards Bengaluru.

Union Railway Minister Highlights Historic Railway Progress in Madhya Pradesh under Prime Minister Modi’s Leadership

Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh has witnessed historic progress in the railway sector. A decade ago, the state used to receive a rail budget of around ₹600 crore, whereas now it has been allocated a rail budget of ₹14,745 crore. The state has achieved 100% railway electrification. In the past 11 years, 2,651 kilometers of new railway tracks have been laid in Madhya Pradesh—more than the entire railway network of a country like Denmark.

Redevelopment work is underway at 80 railway stations in the state, including Gwalior station, which is being developed with a distinctive architectural design.

Shri Vaishnaw also mentioned that efforts are being made to launch a new passenger train service between Gwalior and Agra. In addition, several major railway projects have been approved in Madhya Pradesh. These include:

• Manmad–Indore New Rail Line (309 km) at a cost of ₹18,036 crore,
• Bhusawal–Khandwa Third and Fourth Line at ₹3,514 crore,
• Manikpur–Prayagraj Third Line at ₹1,640 crore, and
• Ratlam–Nagda Third and Fourth Line at ₹1,018 crore.

In the past year alone, rail projects worth ₹24,000 crore have been sanctioned for Madhya Pradesh, which will transform the state’s railway map.

Referring to preparations for the upcoming Simhastha Kumbh, he stated that a master plan has been prepared for the redevelopment of Ujjain station, and work will begin after the event to avoid inconvenience to pilgrims. Redevelopment work is also progressing rapidly at other nearby stations, including Indore.

New Weekly Express Train Details:

Train number 11086 Gwalior–Bengaluru Express will depart from Gwalior every Friday at 3:00 PM, and after passing through Nagpur, Kacheguda, and Dharmavaram, it will arrive at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal, Bengaluru on Sunday at 7:35 AM.

On the return journey, train number 11085 will depart from Bengaluru every Sunday at 3:50 PM and reach Gwalior on Tuesday at 10:25 AM.

The train will halt at the following stations:
Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Bina, Bhopal, Betul, Nagpur, Sevagram, Chandrapur, Ballarshah, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Kazipet, Kacheguda, Mahbubnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool City, Dhone, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur, and Yelahanka.

Coach Composition:

The weekly train will comprise 22 LHB coaches, including:

• 4 Second Sitting coaches,
• 4 AC 3-Tier coaches,
• 3 AC 3-Tier Economy coaches,
• 2 AC 2-Tier coaches,
• The remaining coaches will be Sleeper Class.

Dignitaries Present:

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mohan Yadav, Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Speaker of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, and senior officials from the Railways.

Public representatives, eminent citizens, and general public from various parts of Madhya Pradesh also joined the event via video conferencing.
