IIT Kharagpur opens registration for Young Innovators Program 2023
The registration portal for Young Innovators Program 2023 by IIT Kharagpur, is now open, and interested students have until December 24, 2023, to sign up for the program.
The school students from grade 8 to 12th standard are eligible to take part in it. The themes for this year’s program are advanced recycling and waste management, smart cities and applications for rural India, innovation in food security, healthcare, and medicine, the metaverse and its applications, sustainable growth, climate change, and energy solutions, as well as space technology and applications.
The selection process involves three rounds. The first round is conducted online, providing a convenient platform for participants.
Teams that qualify from the initial round will progress to the subsequent stages, which will take place on the IIT Kharagpur campus. During these rounds, qualifying teams will have the opportunity to present their innovative ideas and will get a chance to witness the lush green vast campus as well.
