CANCELLATION OF HOWRAH-MIDNAPORE EMU LOCAL

DUE TO DEVELOPMENTAL WORKS

Kolkata, 15^th February, 2024:

In view of developmental works in Howrah Division, 38801 Howrah-Midnapore EMU local will be cancelled from 17.02.2024 to 04.03.2024

 

 

Shri K.R.Chaudhary,DRM Kharagpur today conducted a window trailing inspection in KGP-PKU-DGHA section and inspected the Passenger amenities and development works of the important stations of this section.

DRM Kharagpur started with a detailed inspection of Panskura station, where he reviewed the progress of ongoing development works under the Amrit station scheme. He also inspected Tamluk, Nandakumar, Ramnagar Bengal and Digha stations.

At Kanthi, DRM Kharagpur was joined by the Hon’ble MP, Tamluk, Shri Dibyendu Adhikari and both inspected the Passenger amenities available at the kanthi station. They also had a brief meeting regarding various railway issues in this section. In between nandakumar and Lavan satyagrah smarak stations, DRM Kharagpur also inspected the LC gate no 6.

At Digha station, DRM gave necessary instructions to conduct a joint survey for starting a Rail Coach restaurant at the station.

CONTINUATION OF SPECIAL TRAINS

 

Kolkata, 13th February, 2024:

 

With a view to clear the extra rush of passengers, it has been decided to continue the running of Tambaram-Santragachi-Tambaram Weekly Special as per the given schedule:-

 

 

 

· 06079 Tambaram-Santragachi Weekly Special will continue to run till 21.02.2024

 

· 06080 Santragachi-Tambaram Weekly Special will continue to run till 22.02.2024

 

CANCELLATION OF TRAINS DUE TO DEVELOPMENTAL WORKS

IN SOUTH EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY

Kolkata, 15^th February, 2024

In view of developmental works in Bilaspur Division of South East Central Railway, the following trains will be cancelled as under:

• 20828 Santragachi-Jabalpur Express will remain cancelled on 21.02.2024.
• 20827 Jabalpur-Santragachi Express will remain cancelled on 22.02.2024.
