केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (CBSE) ने आज कक्षा 10वीं और 12वीं की बोर्ड परीक्षाओं के परिणाम आधिकारिक रूप से घोषित कर दिए। इस वर्ष फरवरी और मार्च 2025 में आयोजित इन परीक्षाओं में लगभग 38 लाख छात्र-छात्राओं ने भाग लिया।
हाल के वर्षों की परंपरा को जारी रखते हुए, CBSE ने इस बार भी कोई आधिकारिक मेरिट सूची या डिवीजन-वार रैंकिंग जारी नहीं की है। बोर्ड ने यह निर्णय छात्रों के बीच अस्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा को रोकने और समग्र शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से लिया है। इस वर्ष मूल्यांकन प्रणाली को समझ और व्यावहारिकता पर आधारित बनाया गया है।

डिजीलॉकर और उमंग ऐप
कक्षा 12वीं का कुल उत्तीर्ण प्रतिशत 88.39% रहा, जबकि कक्षा 10वीं के छात्रों ने 93.66% का शानदार पास प्रतिशत दर्ज किया। पिछले वर्षों की तरह इस बार भी छात्राओं ने छात्रों की तुलना में बेहतर प्रदर्शन किया।
क्षेत्रीय प्रदर्शन में कक्षा 12वीं में विजयवाड़ा सबसे आगे रहा, जबकि कक्षा 10वीं में त्रिवेंद्रम और विजयवाड़ा ने संयुक्त रूप से 99.79% पास प्रतिशत के साथ शीर्ष स्थान प्राप्त किया। इसके विपरीत, प्रयागराज (कक्षा 12) और गुवाहाटी (कक्षा 10) में सबसे कम पास प्रतिशत दर्ज किया गया।
शीर्ष प्रदर्शन करने वाले छात्र
हालांकि CBSE ने कोई आधिकारिक टॉपर सूची जारी नहीं की है, लेकिन विभिन्न स्कूलों और क्षेत्रों ने कुछ छात्रों के उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन को उजागर किया है। पश्चिम बंगाल की वंशिका कोठारी ने कला संकाय में 99.2% अंक प्राप्त किए, वहीं उत्तर प्रदेश के यजुर आहूजा ने वाणिज्य संकाय में 95% अंक हासिल किए।
प्रगतिशील शिक्षा की दिशा में कदम
CBSE का यह निर्णय, जिसमें मेरिट सूची को जारी नहीं किया गया, छात्रों के मानसिक स्वास्थ्य और निष्पक्ष मूल्यांकन की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रयास माना जा रहा है। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि यह नीति छात्रों पर अनावश्यक दबाव कम करती है और एक समावेशी शिक्षण वातावरण को बढ़ावा देती है।
बोर्ड ने छात्रों से अनुरोध किया है कि वे अपनी डिजिटल मार्कशीट और प्रमाणपत्र डिजीलॉकर के माध्यम से प्राप्त करें, ताकि वे उन्हें उच्च शिक्षा में प्रवेश या नौकरी के लिए उपयोग कर सकें।

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) officially declared the results for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations today. This year, over 38 lakh students appeared for the exams held in February and March 2025.
As per tradition followed in recent years, CBSE has not published any official merit list or division-wise rankings. The board has taken this step to discourage unhealthy academic competition and promote holistic education. Students have been assessed under the board’s updated evaluation framework that emphasizes understanding and application-based learning.

Among the regions, Vijayawada topped the Class 12 results, while Trivandrum and Vijayawada jointly held the highest pass percentage for Class 10 at 99.79%. In contrast, Prayagraj and Guwahati recorded the lowest pass percentages in Class 12 and Class 10 respectively.
Top Scorers Gaining Recognition
Although no official topper list was released, several students have been recognized locally for exceptional performance. Vanshika Kothari from West Bengal scored 99.2% in the Arts stream, and Yajur Ahuja from Uttar Pradesh secured 95% in Commerce, according to reports from individual schools.
A Step Toward Progressive Education
CBSE’s decision to forgo a public merit list reflects a growing focus on student well-being and fair academic recognition. Experts have welcomed this policy, noting it helps reduce pressure on students and fosters an inclusive learning atmosphere.
The board has also encouraged students to collect their digital marksheets and certificates via DigiLocker for official use in higher education admissions and job applications.
