आईआईटी खड़गपुर का एडिनबर्ग विश्वविद्यालय के साथ सहमति पत्र हस्ताक्षरित, अध्यापन, शिक्षण सहित कई विषयों पर होगा काम

 

IIT Kharagpur inks MoU with University of Edinburgh

March 20, 2023, West Bengal, India: Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the University of Edinburgh on shared academic collaboration in promoting teaching, education curriculum, research and service to the community. Prof. Neil Robertson, Dean International Partnerships, College of Science and Engineering, University of Edinburgh signed the MoU in the presence of his counterpart Prof. Jayanta Mukhopadhyay, Dean Outreach & Alumni Affairs, IIT Kharagpur. The two renowned institutions earlier conducted many activities like faculty visits and joint workshops. The current MoU will not only increase these activities manifolds but also engender new activities in research and academics. The duration of the MoU is for five years.

 

Prof. Jayanta Mukhopadhyay, Dean Outreach & Alumni Afffairs, IIT Kharagpur remarked, “This collaboration would orchestrate academic curriculum between both the universities in creating synergy with several academic and research facilities for the students as well as the faculties of the respective universities. Being the oldest IIT in the country, the internationalization of education curriculum to meet the global standards of academicians, technicians and professionals is the priority.”

Prof. Goutam Chakraborty, Associate Dean, International Relations stated, “With this association we need to expand our horizons into globalization of Indian education. The adoption of universal and inclusive academic ecosystem will enhance our ideation to approach future technological pursuits.”

20 मार्च, 2023, पश्चिम बंगाल, भारत: भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान खड़गपुर ने समुदाय के लिए शिक्षण, शिक्षा पाठ्यक्रम, अनुसंधान और सेवा को बढ़ावा देने में साझा शैक्षणिक सहयोग पर एडिनबर्ग विश्वविद्यालय के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन (समझौता ज्ञापन) पर हस्ताक्षर किए। प्रोफेसर नील रॉबर्टसन, डीन इंटरनेशनल पार्टनरशिप, कॉलेज ऑफ साइंस एंड इंजीनियरिंग, यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ एडिनबर्ग ने अपने समकक्ष प्रोफेसर जयंत मुखोपाध्याय, डीन आउटरीच एंड एलुमनी अफेयर्स, आईआईटी खड़गपुर की उपस्थिति में समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए। दो प्रसिद्ध संस्थानों ने पहले फैकल्टी के दौरे और संयुक्त कार्यशालाओं जैसी कई गतिविधियाँ आयोजित कीं। वर्तमान एमओयू न केवल इन गतिविधियों को कई गुना बढ़ाएगा बल्कि अनुसंधान और शिक्षाविदों में नई गतिविधियों को भी जन्म देगा। एमओयू की अवधि पांच साल के लिए है।

जयंत मुखोपाध्याय, डीन आउटरीच एंड एलुमनी अफेयर्स, आईआईटी खड़गपुर ने टिप्पणी की, “यह सहयोग छात्रों के साथ-साथ संबंधित विश्वविद्यालयों के संकायों के लिए कई शैक्षणिक और अनुसंधान सुविधाओं के साथ तालमेल बनाने में दोनों विश्वविद्यालयों के बीच शैक्षणिक पाठ्यक्रम को व्यवस्थित करेगा। देश का सबसे पुराना IIT होने के नाते, शिक्षाविदों, तकनीशियनों और पेशेवरों के वैश्विक मानकों को पूरा करने के लिए शिक्षा पाठ्यक्रम का अंतर्राष्ट्रीयकरण प्राथमिकता है।”

प्रो. गौतम चक्रवर्ती, एसोसिएट डीन, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संबंध ने कहा, “इस सहयोग के साथ हमें भारतीय शिक्षा के वैश्वीकरण में अपने क्षितिज का विस्तार करने की आवश्यकता है। सार्वभौमिक और समावेशी शैक्षणिक पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को अपनाने से भविष्य की तकनीकी खोज के लिए हमारे विचार में वृद्धि होगी।”
